The U.S. women's hockey team appeared alongside members of the men's team on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" on Saturday night.
The Hughes brothers, along with two stars from the women's team, including captain Hilary Knight, appeared on stage with host Connor Storie, of "Heated Rivalry" fame. The men's and women's players downplayed any controversy brewing between them, in the wake of all the comments made about President Trump's "joke" last Sunday.
The two teams are ready to put all of that behind them. In fact, the U.S. women's team had a perfect joke for the male players.

"The last time the men [won a gold medal] was 46 years ago," Quinn Hughes said live on the air.
Knight responded: "And the last time we did that was two whole Olympics ago."
Well played, ladies.
The controversy is clearly not there for the players
While the women might not have loved the men's team's reaction to the joke from President Trump, it's clear that there is a ton of respect between both teams.
"Everyone is giving us backlash for all the social media stuff today," Jack Hughes said, adding: "People are so negative out there and they are just trying to find a reason to put people down and make something out of almost nothing."
"I think everyone in that locker room knows how much we support them and how proud we are of them," he made clear, adding, "And we know the same way we feel about them, they feel about us."
The men's and women's teams clearly have a ton of respect for each other.
