U.S. snowboarder Chloe Kim has been very active on social media amid the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics. She has been sharing her experience in her third Olympic stint, which includes a historic win at the halfpipe competition.

Kim has also been very public about her relationship with Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett. The NFL star flew to Italy to support his girlfriend, fresh off his second Defensive Player of the Year win. Kim and Garrett have been exchanging sweet messages on Instagram as the happy couple celebrated Valentine's Day at the Olympics.

Kim, however, had another reason to be extremely proud on social media on Sunday night.

Kim entered the 2026 Winter Games as a two-time champion in the halfpipe competition. She won gold at the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics at just 17 years old. She repeated the feat at the 2022 Beijing Olympics, marking her second consecutive gold medal.

On Thursday, Kim finished second at the halfpipe final. She came up short behind 17-year-old Choi Gaon of South Korea. Despite her second-place finish, Kim still made history by becoming the first female athlete to medal in three straight Olympic Games at halfpipe.

On Sunday, Kim flexed her historic milestone by changing her Instagram bio. It now reads, “3x Olympic Medalist.” The 25-year-old shared a photo of her new bio on her Instagram stories along with three teary-eyed emojis.

Kim is extremely proud of her feat. She is also genuinely happy for Choi, who won her first Olympic medal with an inspiring performance at the halfpipe final. Kim was the first to congratulate her teenage counterpart after Choi's victory.

In a recent interview, Kim expressed how happy she is for Choi. The snowboarding icon reflected on her first gold medal eight years ago. She was also 17 when she won the halfpipe competition at the Olympics for the first time.

Kim said that the new generation of snowboarders is now emerging. She is adamant that the sport's future is in "very, very good hands.”
