American ski racer Mikaela Shiffrin loved being told that she and podcast host Kylie Kelce look alike, and Kelce is returning the compliment.

The 2026 Winter Olympics slalom gold medalist shared on her Instagram story a fan comment saying that she and Kelce from the "Not Gonna Lie" show have a striking resemblance. Shiffrin appeared thrilled, writing, “This is the best compliment I’ve gotten in a while.”

Kelce recently hosted Shiffrin on her podcast, where they joked about being told they look like twins. The pair tried to out-compliment each other.

"I've never been more flattered," said Kelce while looking at a screenshot of an X post where a user says Shiffrin looks like her.

Shiffrin then showered her hosts with compliments.

"I think you're just so much more proportionate," she said. "You have a much better skin tone."

Kelce will not argue and instead said:

"I think we should just start rolling and say like 'We're siblings.'"

Shiffrin has become one of the most popular American athletes following her storybook performance at the Winter Olympics. She struggled in the giant slalom event but bounced back in the slalom final to win gold.

Although she and Kelce shared lighthearted moments, Shiffrin’s early struggles in Milan-Cortina drew criticism online. During the podcast episode, she revealed that she received hateful messages after failing to medal in the giant slalom.

"I was like, you guys know I just won a medal, but I was seeing all these comments like, 'Don't come home. You're not welcome in the U.S. anymore,'" she said.

"This was the first time I saw the dark side of it. There's a reaction no matter what you do."
