American snowboarder Chloe Kim has managed to grab everyone's attention without even trying.
Kim, 26, solidified herself as a household name in 2018 when she became the youngest woman to win an Olympic medal in snowboarding. She backed up her golf medal in the halfpipe by winning the event again at the 2022 Olympics. Although she didn't complete the three-peat earlier this year at the Milano Cortina Games, she won silver and showed tremendous class after coming up short.
Just three months ago, Kim was named one of the 100 most influential people of 2026. Time Magazine raved about her career as a snowboarder as well as her personality away from the Winter Games.
"Chloe Kim makes effort look cool. Any athlete who has competed at the highest level knows how much work goes into moments that look effortless from the outside. What I love about Chloe is that she doesn’t pretend it’s easy. She embraces the grind of Olympic snowboarding and still brings so much style, confidence, and personality to everything she does," Time Magazine wrote. "This past year, she’s continued to show what it means to compete on your own terms. Chloe has been open about the pressures of elite sports and unapologetic about protecting her mental health. That kind of honesty is powerful, especially for young athletes who are watching and learning what success can actually look like."

Kim was invited to TIME’s 100 Most Influential People in Sports event this Thursday in New York City. She showed up to this event in a white dress that legitimately left some of her fans in awe.
"She's a dream," one person wrote on Instagram.
"Stunning," a second person commented.
"Incredible," another person declared.
It's been a busy week for Chloe Kim.
Roughly 24 hours before she attended TIME’s 100 Most Influential People in Sports event, Kim was at the 2026 ESPY Awards with her boyfriend, Los Angeles Rams star Myles Garrett.
Kim, who has been nominated for a handful of ESPY Awards in the past, had the honor of presenting an award at the David H. Koch Theater on Wednesday night.
With awards season just about over, Kim can turn her attention over to the NFL season. We'd have to imagine she'll be attending Rams games this fall.
