U.S. Winter Olympian Chloe Kim is aiming for another gold medal.
The 25-year-old snowboarder is the favorite in the women's halfpipe competition in Italy. Kim is off to a good start on Thursday. She scored an 88 in her first run, taking the lead over the field. Kim will look to hold on and add another Winter Olympics gold medal to her resume, after winning gold in 2018 and 2022, too.
Kim's boyfriend, NFL star Myles Garrett, is on hand for her performance on Thursday. Garrett, the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year, has been taking photos of his girlfriend's performance.
"I got her whole run," Garrett said after Kim's qualifying run. "She's amazing."
Garrett, meanwhile, is confident that Kim will come away with the gold medal.
"She's going to do it," Garrett said. "She's the best."

Kim is a fan favorite at the Winter Olympics.
The California native has more than 1.1 million followers on Instagram. She's one of the most-followed athletes in Italy.
