Liu has been all over the place lately, appearing on shows like NBC's "Today" and "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."
However, her fame has reached a scary point.
Liu, 20, revealed that she was chased to her car by someone at the airport. She scared the scary personal news on her Instagram Story early Thursday morning.
"So I land at the airport, & there's a crowd waiting at the exit with cameras & things for me to sign. All up in my personal space. Someone chased me to my car bruh," Liu wrote, adding a plea to her fans, "Please do not do that to me."
It's been a whirlwind couple of weeks for Liu
Liu, the best female figure skater in the world, has had to deal with a lot of craziness as of late.
She revealed in a Teen Vogue interview that it's been hard to get some downtime after winning the gold medal.
"After I won, [there] was no sleep…. I went home and I literally did whatever I wanted for five days. I didn't have any media, and I had no commitments, so it was really great. I got to see a lot of my friends again, and just relax and catch up on sleep. I skated twice just because I wanted to," she said.
It's understandable that Liu is going to deal with some craziness, but fans can take things too far.
