The U.S. has issued a warning after three college students have been found dead.
A college student in California, a college student in Michigan and a college student in Illinois have been found dead. The college student in California was missing for several days, before being found near a lake. He was a graduate student from Indiana.
Meanwhile, in Michigan, a freshman at Ann Arbor was found dead, after going missing in the cold. He was missing for several days amid a freezing cold front in the area. Harsh conditions are believed to have contributed to his passing.
Tragically, a student at the University of Illinois was found dead in a dorm room on Wednesday, per reports from the school.

The U.S. has issued a "warning" to all students, especially as cold weather remains:
- Minimize travel.
- Stay indoors during the worst part of the extreme cold.
- Keep a winter survival kit in your vehicle if you must travel.
- Check tire pressure, antifreeze levels, heater/defroster, etc.
- Learn how to shut off water valves for potential pipe bursts.
- Check on the elderly.
- Bring pets inside.
- Wear layers of loose-fitting, lightweight, warm clothing, and a hat.
- Mittens, snug at the wrist, are better than gloves.
- Cover your mouth to protect your lungs from extreme cold.
- Try to stay dry and out of the wind.
