Isabeau Levito watched on as her fellow “Blade Angels,” Amber Glenn and Alysa Liu, earned a gold medal for Team USA at the 2026 Winter Olympics. The two figure skaters helped the United States total 69 points in the team free skate, edging silver-medalist Japan by one point to secure first place.
While Levito did not compete in the team figure skating event, the 18-year-old was able to make her Olympic debut on Wednesday in the women’s singles short program. With a score of 70.84, she placed eighth, qualifying for Thursday’s free skate. She will join Liu (76.59) and Glenn (67.39), who finished third and 13th in the short program, respectively.

In her Olympic short program debut, Levito skated to “Almost in Your Arms” and “Zou Bisou Bisou,” a performance inspired by Italian actress and musician Sophia Loren. She also landed a triple flip–triple toe loop combination, which added 10.56 points to her final score, her highest-scoring jump of the day.
After Levito clinched one of the 24 spots in the free skate, NBC Philadelphia’s Siobhan McGirl asked how she was feeling following her debut. And Levito did not hold back, admitting to loving everything about her performance.
“I feel very good," Levito said. "I feel like I skated with the elegance that I wanted to skate with. And I’m very glad that my Olympic debut looked like that… I just felt special. And I really love this program. I love the costume, and I love the character that I get to play in this program. So I just feel very confident and very satisfied and happy with myself right now.”
Levito, along with Liu and Glenn, will compete in the women's single free skating event in Milan on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. ET.
