Alysa Liu and Isabeau Levito have now completed their first Winter Olympics together, competing alongside each other for Team USA in the women’s singles figure skating event at Milano Cortina 2026. While Levito was making her Olympic debut in Milan, it marked Liu’s second appearance at the Winter Games, walking away from Beijing 2022 without a medal.

Levito began her Olympic journey in Italy by watching her fellow "Blade Angels" members, Liu and Amber Glenn, help the United States win gold in the team event. Liu contributed nine points in the qualification round, helping the USA finish with 69 total points, beating out silver-medalist Japan by one.

But in the women’s singles event, Levito finally made her Olympic debut, recording the eighth-best score in the short program. However, the 18-year-old saw her standing drop after the free skate, finishing 12th overall with a total score of 202.80, missing out on a medal. Liu, meanwhile, finished the event with a total score of 226.79, winning her second Olympic gold medal.

Despite not bringing home any hardware, Levito still enjoyed her first Olympic experience. And on Friday, she continued to celebrate her debut with a social media post, sharing numerous photos of herself and her USA teammates throughout the 2026 Winter Olympics.

"2026 olympian❤️," Levito wrote on Instagram.

Liu took notice of Levito’s new post, giving her "Blade Angels" teammate a new nickname in the comments section.

"Tew cute," Liu wrote. "Isabeau the Olympian of Olympians."

Even though Levito missed out on a medal, watching as her teammates took home gold, her experience in Milan is still something she'll always remember.

“I’ve spent every night in the village,” Levito said. “It’s been everything and more. And you can’t evict me. … I don’t think there’s anything not to enjoy. Haven’t even gotten to compete yet and I feel like my experience is already complete. Not complete, but just, I’m having a blast. The best time."
