Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell have been incredible for the Indiana Fever this season. The two continue to lead the best offense in the WNBA, with Clark averaging nearly 23 points per game and Mitchell averaging over 25 points.
Clark has been phenomenal as a playmaker as well, dishing out over eight assists per game.
With the two leading the way, the Fever have secured a playoff spot and are in contention to finish in the top four of the WNBA standings. Most recently, the team beat the Minnesota Lynx to improve to a 28-15 record.
As the two players dominate in the WNBA, they continue to earn the respect and admiration of their basketball peers.
In fact, Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton recently talked about the two in a video for NBA 2K.

In the clip, several NBA players were asked about the WNBA players they would love to team up with. While Haliburton said that Maya Moore would always be his No. 1 choice, he didn’t forget to mention Mitchell, Clark and Aliyah Boston.
Interestingly, though, he stated that he would probably choose Mitchell over Clark if he had to pick one. After all, Haliburton feels that he and Clark play too much alike, and he needs a player like Mitchell who can score in a variety of ways.
“Obviously, everybody knows I’m a big Fever fan, so it’s got to be either Kelsey Mitchell, Caitlin Clark or Aliyah Boston,” Haliburton said. “Me and Caitlin play too much alike. She probably want the ball too much for me. So probably, I’d say Kelsey Mitchell cause I need somebody to score the rock.”
To be fair to Haliburton, his explanation makes sense. Like Clark, he is an elite playmaker who can also shoot the ball. As for Mitchell, she is a pure scorer who can attack the rim and shoot from outside at a high level.
Haliburton might also have some bias since Mitchell signed with Puma under the Hali franchise in June.
Haliburton and Clark share a close friendship, though, with the Pacers guard even saying previously that they talk with each other a lot, per ESPN. Clark also stated that she and Haliburton hope to stay in Indiana for the rest of their respective careers.
