Two years ago wide receiver Tyreek Hill was coming off an historic season where he led the league in yards and touchdowns. But after getting cut by the Miami Dolphins earlier this offseason, he’s a man without a team as the NFL offseason winds down.
Judging by new comments from Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, it might stay that way for a little while longer. Appearing on The Pat McAfee Show, Rosenhaus said that he doesn’t expect Hill to sign anywhere before the start of the season. But he still believes that Hill “looked great” in videos and can be an impact player wherever he goes.
“I don’t expect Tyreek Hill to sign before the season…” Rosenhaus said. “He sent me videos of him running hills yesterday & he looked great… I do think when he does sign he will be the kind of guy that will impact the playoff race & will certainly be successful.”
From 2016 to 2023, Hill ranked among the most dangerous players in the entire league. When healthy he would average close to 100 yards per game or more and he enjoyed eight straight Pro Bowls to start his career.
In 2023, he had his best season yet, leading the league in receiving yards, yards per game, yards per touch and touchdown receptions. He finished sixth in the MVP voting that year and second in Offensive Player of the Year voting.

But after a down 2024 followed by an injury-filled 2025, it’s starting to look more like Hill’s best days are far behind him.
That could change in an instant if he finds the right situation and gets healthy, but we can’t know for sure until he actually goes out and joins an NFL team.
And lately Hill has seemed a little bit more focused on issues in his personal life than getting back onto the football field.
Will Hill play in 2026? If so, where is he most likely to end up?
