RAM Trucks will make their NASCAR debut tonight as Kaulig Racing takes the track for the Fresh from Florida 250. This team will feature four full-time drivers with one rotational car, being the No. 25. Tonight, Tony Stewart drives the car, though seemingly reluctant to do so. This will be his only confirmed race as RAM and Kaulig unveil their next driver at EchoPark Speedway next week.
On Friday, RAM and Kaulig are expected reveal pre-race that Ty Dillon will step up to the plate at EchoPark Speedway. The driver of Kaulig's No. 10 car in the Cup Series will now do double duty next weekend. A familiar name, this is no big surprise at all.
Ty Dillon to Make RAM Trucks Debut
Dillon is certainly familiar with the Truck Series. In his career, he has competed in 76 races, resulting in 3 wins, 20 top-5 finishes, and 38 top-10 finishes. Most recently, Dillon sat in a Truck for 18 races in 2024, in which Dillon accounted for only 2 top-10 finishes and nothing else.
2024 was very much a get-back season for Dillon after he left Spire Motorsports. Dillon would run full-time in the Truck Series for Racklay W.A.R. Despite struggles in that season, Dillon would get back on track, earning his full-time ride with Kaulig Racing's No. 10 Cup Car in 2025. He returns this year and now takes a ride in the No. 25 RAM truck.
How Might Ty Dillon Perform?
It will be difficult for us to weigh the projections for Dillon. As RAM has yet to race in the Truck Series, it is unknown whether those engines will do well or poorly. Here are the current betting odds per DraftKings Sportsbook:

The takeaways suggest uncertainty from the sportsbooks. The odds favor the better-known names such as Haley and Stewart. The less-experienced drivers on RAM/Kaulig fall short of high expectations. Friday night will give us a clue about how to view this new team.
