Bad Bunny's Super Bowl 60 halftime show received a lot of praise on social media on Sunday evening.
The Puerto Rican rapper and singer performed for about 15 minutes on the Levi's Stadium field. While his performance was worthy of praise, it was the visuals and the special effects that garnered most of the attention.
Following the performance, Bad Bunny had a simple message for everyone.
“Together, We Are America.”
More than 100 million people tuned into the Super Bowl 60 halftime show. Unsurprisingly, there were a lot of viral moments.
But two "rumors" about Bad Bunny's halftime show have officially been addressed
The first rumor that went viral is that the couple that got married during the halftime show actually got married, legally, during the ceremony.
That is true.
"This is incredibly cool — A source familiar with Bad Bunny’s performance tonight tells me that the couple in the halftime show got married for real. They invited Bad Bunny to their wedding and in turn he invited them to get married during his performance," Rohan Nadkarni shared.
The other rumor that went viral is that the young child in the halftime show is the child who was taken into custody by ICE.
However, that is not true.
The young child is simply an actor.
"I’m told the child who was handed the Grammy during Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show was NOT Liam Conejo Ramos, the kid who was held by ICE. He is a child actor named Lincoln Fox Ramadan. Many people on social media claiming it was Ramos. Not true," Michael J. Babcock shared.
The official Super Bowl 60 halftime show TV ratings will be out on Monday.
