Two fans sitting behind home plate at Dodger Stadium for Game 3 of the National League Championship Series got on everyone’s nerves on Wednesday night.
The Dodgers hosted the Brewers in Game 3 of the NLCS on Wednesday night. The Brewers rallied from an early deficit to take down the Dodgers, 6-2, and move to within one win of the World Series. Los Angeles, which entered the year as a heavy World Series favorite, is now one loss away from elimination.
Los Angeles will need to pull a 2004 Boston Red Sox and win four straight games to reach the World Series.
While Dodgers fans are frustrated by the state of the postseason, two fans sitting behind home plate went viral, for making out and engaging in other non-baseball watching behavior at the game on Wednesday night.
“It’s the NLCS and these two are just making out. What are you doing at a game like this????” one critical fan wrote on X.
The odd behavior continued throughout the game.
“Now she’s feeding him food. And they kissed again. Ruining the game,” one fan added on X.
“He can’t even wave his rally towel. But he can make out during the game. Should be banned from all sporting events moving forward.”
MLB fans annoyed by the scene behind home plate
Many watching the game were annoyed by what they saw from behind home plate on Wednesday night.
“This couple was entertaining all game … added to the awesome evening!!” one fan said sarcastically on X.
“Is that Justin Herbert and Madison Beer?” another fan joked.
“How can you not be romantic about baseball?” another fan joked.
“Brewers were winning. How do you not?” another fan joked.
The Dodgers, meanwhile, will look to avoid elimination and start a rally with a win against the Brewers in Game 4.
