It's a good thing Travis Kelce is marrying a literal billionaire, otherwise he might have passed out after seeing the bill from his big wedding yesterday.
In an interview with PEOPLE, celebrity event designer Edward Perotti explained that the wedding between Kelce and Taylor Swift likely cost in the area of $35-50 million. Peroitti explained that between the venue rental costs, labor, staging, florals, lighting, catering, transportation and custom designs on top of security and everything else, it's a pretty penny.
"Most stadiums, they're union houses, you also have to navigate the union, the workers, and you have to pay them,” Perotti told the outlet. “There's a snowball effect with it that just kind of automatically comes with it that most people don't think.”
“It’s somewhere in the window of $35 million to $50 million,” he said of the final price.
To put that number into perspective, OverTheCap notes that Kelce has earned approximately $34 million on the two-year contract he played for the Chiefs on from 2024 to 2025.
The Wedding
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift began dating in 2023 after Kelce famously revealed on his podcast that he had tried to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number following one of her Eras Tour concerts. Their relationship quickly became one of the most high-profile celebrity romances in the world, with Swift regularly attending Kansas City Chiefs games and Kelce supporting her on international stops of the Eras Tour.

Their appearances together drew enormous media attention, boosting NFL television ratings, merchandise sales, and interest from audiences who had not traditionally followed professional football.
The couple became engaged in 2025 and have continued to be a fixture in sports and entertainment headlines. Their relationship has been credited with introducing new fans to both the NFL and Swift's music while spawning countless social media discussions, endorsements, and media coverage.
