Travis Kelce's ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, is speaking out to all black men ahead of the BET Awards on Sunday night.
Nicole, who famously dated the Kansas City Chiefs tight end for multiple years, took to social media to call out the Black men of America, in regards to their dating lives and more.
"Let’s set the record straight... Kayla Nicole LOVES her some Black men! 😂🖤," BET wrote.
"In a world that doesn’t always show up for Black women, it’s our responsibility as Black men to do our part—to protect, uplift, respect, and support them. Kayla Nicole keeps it real on love, accountability, and the relationship between Black men and Black women."
"Black men have to do a better job at protecting Black women at all costs," Nicole told BET.
"I've said this before, but protection can show up in so many different ways. Whether that's just like calling a home girl and checking in on her and making sure that she's good. Or (it could mean) standing up for a woman that you see in public that's having a hard time with a man."
Kelce, meanwhile, has moved on to Taylor Swift, as the happy couple will be getting married next weekend.
