The speculation about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's summer wedding has reached the U.S. Government.
Seriously.
As speculation swirls about when and where Swift and Kelce will get married, an official U.S. state government official has had to step in, shooting down the rumors. It's long been speculated that Swift and Kelce would get married in Rhode Island in June. Swift has a home in Rhode Island.
However, that won't be happening.

During a Westerly city council meeting last week, town manager Shawn Lacey officially shot down the speculation.
The wedding will not be taking place in Rhode Island, government officials have now confirmed.
“We have no knowledge of a wedding taking place in June,” Lacey told councilor Rose Van Dover, the Westerly Sun wrote. “If there was one taking place in June, we would certainly have knowledge of it by now.”
There's one way the wedding could take place in Rhode Island without the government knowing: if it's tiny. But that is almost certainly not going to be the case with Swift and Kelce's wedding.
“I’ve been in touch with the state on this,” Lacey said, per the Sun. “We’ve coordinated with outside agencies in the event that it was to happen, but there’s nothing that we know of, and seeing that it is now eight weeks away, I can’t imagine someone’s throwing a wedding together in eight weeks.”
Kelce, Swift could get married in New York City
The latest speculation surrounding Kelce and Swift's wedding is that it'll take place in New York City on July 3.
Of course, given the nature of Swift and Kelce's celebrity, we probably won't know anything until it actually happens.
The iconic pop star and the Kansas City Chiefs star are notoriously private.
