Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift Didn't Invite Chiefs Co-Owner To Wedding

Not everyone within the Kansas City Chiefs organization made the guest list for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding.

The celebrity couple tied the knot at Madison Square Garden on July 3. Patrick Mahomes was among the many well-known attendees at the New York ceremony, but Dan Hunt was not.

Hunt, who co-owns the Chiefs with his three siblings, told CBS News Texas that he wasn’t invited. He joked about that being the “second biggest question” asked of him this summer.

“I did not get invited to Taylor Swift’s wedding,” Hunt said. “Apparently, I don’t sing well enough to get invited.”

Hunt’s brother, Clark Hunt, attended Kelce’s wedding with his wife and two children. Dan heard great things about the event from the Chiefs chairman and CEO.

“My brother was there, and I talked to him and he said, ‘Look it was really special and it was really unique.’ And we were all so happy for him,” Dan Hunt said.

Hunt doesn’t seem to have any hard feelings over the snub. The FC Dallas president invited Kelce and Swift to attend a soccer match, but he doesn’t anticipate it happening this year.

“I’m working on it. We’ll have to see,” Hunt said. “It’ll probably be after Travis retiring, but they’re always welcome down here. She does have a busy schedule, though. You know how it goes as a star, but a match and coming to TOCA Social would be fun.”

Hunt thinks the star tight end would bring plenty of energy to the arena. Yet Kelce is currently preoccupied preparing for his 13th season with the Chiefs.

“Travis is one of the most fun individuals I’ve ever been around in my life,” Hunt said. “I can only imagine what it would be like to have him here doing it. Maybe it’ll come true. Who knows?”
