Travis Kelce is now happily married to music icon Taylor Swift and he still looks back fondly on the moments that got him there.
On the latest episode of the New Heights podcast with his brother Jason, Kelce detailed how he proposed to his now-wife. He said that during the now-famous podcast episode with Swift sitting next to him, he was planning on eventually asking Swift to marry him.
“During that recording the entire time, I’m planning, like, ‘I’m gonna ask this woman to marry me after,'” Kelce said.
The Wedding
Kelce and Swift were married on July 3, in a highly private yet star-studded ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City after nearly three years together. The couple kept the event largely under wraps until a "JUST&T MARRIED!" message lit up the arena's exterior following the ceremony, confirming the marriage.
Actor Adam Sandler officiated the wedding, while Swift's brother, Austin Swift, served as her "Man of Honor" and Jason Kelce, was the best man. Rather than having a traditional bridal party, the couple opted for an intimate ceremony featuring custom Christian Dior attire and a phone-free celebration for their guests.

The celebration drew hundreds of celebrities, athletes, friends, and family, making it one of the most anticipated celebrity weddings in recent memory while remaining remarkably secretive. According to reports, legendary musician Stevie Nicks performed during the reception, and the guest list included prominent figures from sports, entertainment, and music.
Despite the scale of the event, very few official photos were released immediately afterward, adding to the intrigue surrounding the ceremony. The wedding capped one of pop culture's most closely followed relationships.
Some believe that a full-length, feature film on the wedding is going to be released somewhere down the line.
