Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce has declared teammate Kingsley Suamataia’s nickname following their third win of the new NFL season.
After the Chiefs’ 24-10 win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday in Week 3, Kelce took to social media to shout out offensive tackle Suamataia. The 11-time Pro Bowl tight end shared Suamataia’s Instagram post, giving him a fitting nickname.
“Big Kings,” Kelce wrote in his Instagram story.
Suamataia has started all three games for Kansas City this season and logged 149 total offensive snaps. The former BYU standout has played his part in the Chiefs’ 3-0 start this season as he continues to improve in Year 3.
The Chiefs drafted Suamataia in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft to compete at left tackle. However, he struggled early and was pulled during the second game of his rookie season. Kansas City moved him to left guard in 2025, and he has since flourished in the role.
With his physical style of play, Suamataia has protected superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes, along with the rest of the offensive line.
Kelce is also off to a strong start for the Chiefs in his 14th season, racking up 14 catches on 18 targets for 231 yards and two touchdowns.
The Chiefs are scheduled to face the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 4 at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday. The Raiders are also 3-0, and the winner of the upcoming divisional rivalry matchup will take the solo lead in the AFC West.
