Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen had been married for more than a decade, prior to their shocking divorce in the fall of 2022.
The legendary NFL quarterback and the iconic supermodel called it quits in the fall of 2022, toward the end of Brady’s professional career. Brady and Bundchen share two children together. Brady has remained single post-divorce, while Bundchen has had a child with her new partner, former jiu-jitsu trainer Joaquim Valente.
Brady, unsurprisingly, was apparently “stunned” by Bundchen’s behavior prior to their divorce, making it clear where he stands.

Brady made a “desperate” 11-day attempt to save their marriage, as he realized what was happening.
The NFL quarterback was excused from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ 2022 training camp so he could fly to the Bahamas to meet with Bundchen and attempt to save their marriage. He couldn’t believe that it was coming to an end.
“I’ve got to take care of some personal things,” Brady, 49, told coach Clyde Christensen, according to the upcoming biography, “Brady: An American Story and the Price of Greatness,” via The Daily Mail.
It surprised everyone.
“Tom didn’t know what the heck was going on,” an assistant coach recalled. “And we didn’t know if he was ever coming back.”
However, when Brady returned to Tampa, it was clear that his mission was unsuccessful.
“Tom was an empty shell of who he was when he got back,” Christensen said. “There was no joy. Everything was hard work.”
Bundchen, meanwhile, had repeatedly asked Brady to retire. She wanted more help at home.
“She needed him to be present when he was at home, not responding to text messages on his constantly buzzing cell phone or replaying a game in his mind,” Anderson wrote. “She needed more help with the kids. She needed the chance to sleep in just a few days a week. She needed more time for her own career.”
Ultimately, both opted to move on from one another, and hopefully, they’re better off for it at this point.
