NFL legend Tom Brady is taking full accountability for his Week 2 miscues in the broadcast booth.
Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels suffered a gruesome elbow injury during the first half of last Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. When FOX showed the replay, Brady slipped up and said, “Oh (expletive).”
“Excuse me,” Brady continued. “Was not expecting to see that. Oh man, [he] tries to brace himself with his left elbow and the left elbow [gives out].”
Later in the Commanders-Cowboys game, Brady referred to a pass from Dak Prescott as an “absolute (expletive) missile up the sideline.”

With Week 3 officially underway, Brady promised his viewers that he’ll clean up his language in the booth.
“I’m actually kind of embarrassed,” Brady said. “There’s a lot of grandmas at home that probably aren’t very happy with my mouth on Fox. I’m going to fix that. Sorry, I apologize.”
Brady later cracked this joke: “That swear jar is getting way too full in my house. My kids are getting way too happy with me filling up that jar.”
Will Brady face discipline from FOX?
Technically, Brady’s comments last Sunday violated the FCC’s guidelines. It’s unclear if he’ll be penalized though.
“The FCC has statutory authority to issue fines for certain broadcast indecency violations, with a maximum of $325,000 per violation and $3 million for a single continuing act,” The Mirror reported. “Despite having the legal authority to fine individuals directly in applicable situations, the FCC has often opted to go after networks or broadcasters.”
FOX, on the other hand, isn’t going to take any disciplinary action. Brady will get to call this Sunday’s game between the Los Angeles Chargers and Buffalo Bills.
