Tom Brady and Logan Paul had another heated confrontation this week, this time at the Fanatics Fest in New York City. And this time, the NFL icon quite literally came to blows with the YouTuber turned WWE superstar.

With New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns serving as a moderator of sorts between the two men, Brady and Paul did a staredown at one point. They started mouthing off at each other before Brady slapped Paul upside his head.

Towns stepped in and separated the two before there was any further clashes between them.

Afterwards, Brady took to his X account and called Paul a "dork."

Brady also appeared on WWE superstar Cody Rhodes' What Do You Wanna Talk About? show where he admitted that he was intrigued by the prospect of doing some WWE events.

“I feel like since I’m retired from football, I have an opportunity to go out there and still showcase that I’m a little bit of an athlete. You know, my boy Gronk has done it. I’ve seen Logan Paul do it. I think I could get in there for at least one match, right? Come on Nick (Khan). Make it happen,” Brady said.

Unimpressed

This isn't the first time that Brady and Paul have confronted each other and even then people collectively rolled their eyes at it. Fans can clearly see through Brady and Paul trying to set themselves up for some kind of WWE confrontation in the near future and are not impressed by how much Brady is leaning into it. Many feel that Brady shouldn't have to "lower himself" by getting into a WWE clash with Paul.

"Love you Tom, but this Logan Paul stuff is beneath you. Your name means something, you don't need to be doing bits with someone whose whole brand is built on rigged boxing matches and a crypto rug pull. Choose your collabs better," one user on X remarked.

"Tom, you have two choices: 1.) admit this was staged for something undoubtedly stupid. 2.) admit that it’s real and you slap like an emaciated female street beggar in New Delhi," wrote another.

"Tom, why even stage things like this with Logan Paul? You already accomplished enough and made enough bread… right?" a third wrote.

"I could understand if you needed the money but come on. Trying to fake this whole thing to build up suspense and money for a fake wrestling match? Diminishes you a bit. You're known for REAL battles on the football field. This is stupid."

Brady clearly doesn't (or shouldn't) need the money to be doing WWE spots but maybe he was offered a sum he couldn't resist or just really likes WWE and wants to get involved however he can.

Either way, this is all an obvious work and will probably culminate at an upcoming WWE event, if not this summer then probably later in the year or early in 2027.
