The Tennessee Titans finished their second padded practice of training camp. One of the players worth monitoring was Dan Moore Jr.
Unfortunately for the Titans, the offensive tackle received a major setback on Tuesday, as he appeared to become injured. Following the injury to what seemed to be the lower part of his body, the left tackle was accompanied by a trainer, who walked with him back inside.
The good sign was that Moore Jr. was able to walk to the training room under his own power, but even within the walk he was noticeably uncomfortable and bothered by a lower-body injury.
Tennessee Titans Backup Options Behind Dan Moore Jr.

This is a terrible sign for the Titans, as they are thin at offensive tackle, leaving the two reasonable options to take his place as Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson and Austin Deculus.
Deculus is entering this season ranked as the worst-graded offensive tackle at 36.5. This isn't what the Titans would want for a starting offensive tackle, as last season was already bad enough with JC Latham and Dan Moore Jr. taking the snaps for the Titans last season, two offensive tackles who finished with much better ratings and rankings than Deculus. This would be a significant decrease and is a concern considering the Titans' biggest need is to protect the quarterback.
The second of the two options is Crenshaw-Dickson, who didn't have enough snaps last season to be able to be ranked, but he graded as a 60.8. This isn't great, but it seems more encouraging than Deculus, who is the likely option in the Titans' eyes.

This puts the Titans in a bit of a chokehold, as they will need to find a way to get Moore Jr. back to the field.
As of now, there hasn't been any return timetable or even a public diagnosis, but it is safe to say that until that comes, the Titans' fans and franchise will be holding their breath with hopes that he will be back with the program before the beginning of the season.
