The Tennessee Titans' 2026 season is quickly approaching, and fans are ecstatic, as they will get to see their new football additions in live action, including some of the better players that the Titans added via free agency this offseason, which was all part of the success that Mike Borgonzi was hopeful to have.
One of the positions that the Titans made a priority is cornerback. The Titans landed multiple players to play in the defensive back room after the Titans struggled to have any production at the third-level in 2025. Two of the additions that were made were Cor'Dale Flott from the New York Giants and the "cookie monster" Alontae Taylor.
While training camp is just now beginning, it is safe to say that the two have clicked well, which is one of the major reasons that Taylor recently shared a bold prediction ahead of the 2026 season.

When it comes to talent level, it is known that both Flott and Alontae Taylor are high-level defenders when it comes to their pass coverage. Both have only gotten better throughout their careers, and both are set for a massive season this year. If Taylor and Flott can get going to the degree that Taylor is predicting, then the Titans' season could be very special under the new leadership of Robert Saleh. There are reasons to believe that this is possible as well, thanks to the confidence that the defensive staff already has in these two, as both players are all but guaranteed to be starters.
