Former college football star and NFL quarterback Tim Tebow has committed to a longterm future at ESPN.
Tebow, who won a Heisman Trophy and two national championships at the University of Florida, before playing both baseball and football professionally, has since gotten into sports media. He covers college football for the SEC Network while making regular appearances on ESPN, as well.
On Monday morning, July 20, ESPN announced that Tebow has committed to a longterm future with the Worldwide Leader in Sports.

ESPN announced on Monday morning that Tebow has signed a multi-year contract extension with the company.

"ESPN has secured a multi-year contract extension with sports icon Tim Tebow, who will continue as a college football analyst on SEC Network’s traveling pre-game show SEC Nation," ESPN announced.
"The Heisman Award winner and National Championship winning quarterback will also remain as a mainstay in ESPN’s College Football Playoff programming, providing his analysis and insight across ESPN networks."
Tebow is excited to be staying put.
“I love this game and getting to talk about it every Saturday with the crews on SEC Network and ESPN is a gift I don’t take lightly,” said Tebow. “SEC fans bring a passion that never gets old, and I’m grateful I get to keep doing this alongside people who feel like family.”
ESPN president Burke Magnus is excited, too.
“Tim is one of the legendary players in the history of college football and he will continue to be a fixture in our coverage on SEC Network and across ESPN,” Magnus said. “Tim’s unrivaled experience in the SEC combined with his knowledge and genuine passion for the game make him one of the sport’s most credible voices, particularly among the SEC Nation fanbase.”
