Tigres are in need of a win to finish in the top 4 positions of the Liga MX Leagues Cup table. They are currently 5th with 4 points after two draws against Real Salt Lake and Minnesota United.
Tigres gained four points as they won the two penalty shootouts against Real Salt Lake and Minnesota United.
Vancouver Whitecaps have been eliminated from the 2026 Leagues Cup after two matches played. The Whitecaps lost 1-0 to Atlante, and then they lost 3-1 to FC Juarez last week.
The Vancouver Whitecaps are on zero points following their two losses. They still need to play the match tonight but will try to avoid finishing bottom of the MLS Leagues Cup table, which is where they currently sit.
