The Tennessee Titans are set to play against the San Francisco 49ers in the first game of their preseason slate on Thursday. This is a contest that will showcase many players that both teams need to know, including three players that I believe Titans fans should know even more than the others.
Here are the three I am watching closest, and Titans' fans should too.
Romello Height - EDGE

Romello Height is going to be one of the players that the Titans need to know about ahead of the game due to his unbelievable speed off the edge. While many believe he is undersized, his speed and his fireworks of hands allow him to cause damage when setting a contain or rushing the passer. He was electric in college and is expected to be great for the 49ers. One thing the Titans have struggled with is the offensive line, which leaves many to believe that Height could be a nightmare for this offense on Thursday night.
De'Zhaun Stribling - Wide Receiver

The 49ers are going to piggyback off the success that they can gain from their wide receivers, which includes De'Zhaun Stribling, who is set to make his NFL preseason debut during the game on Thursday night. He is an excellent receiver to have on the outside, and is excellent when it comes to blocking in the run game. This is the one thing that I will be watching the closest. It will be easy to compare him to Carnell Tate throughout the night, which makes him one of the players worth knowing.
Bryson Eason - Defensive Tackle

The third player that fans need to know is Bryson Eason, who is a defensive tackle. He wasn't selected in the NFL Draft, which was surprising considering many believed he could have been selected as high as the fifth round of the 2026 NFL Draft. He is fighting for a spot on the team, and will be one of the players with the most opportunities to succeed. I am watching Eason closely, and I would encourage all fans to do so, as he is great at filling the gaps.
