If the spring and summer left you with football withdrawals then the next 6 days should cure what ails you.
Starting tonight and running through Monday night there will be either pro or college football for you to enjoy every day. Tonight things kick off with the first NFL game of the season as the Seattle Seahawks host the New England Patriots in a rematch of Super Bowl LX.
Thursday will unfortunately require you to make a choice between the NFL and college as the San Francisco 49ers take on the Los Angeles Rams in Australia. At the same time though, the No. 7 Miami Hurricanes take on Florida A&M.
Friday will see a number of college football matchups featuring power conference teams, including a few ranked ones such as No. 23 Missouri at arch-rival Kansas, Villanova at No. 24 Louisville and Norfolk State at No. 25 Virginia.
The Saturday football schedule will be a great one:
No. 11 Oklahoma head to Ann Arbor to take on the Michigan Wolverines in the noon slot. In the mid-afternoon slot No. 12 Alabama takes on Kentucky in the first SEC vs. SEC game of the season.
But the marquee game of Saturday will be No. 1 Ohio State at No. 4 Texas in the evening.

NFL Week 1
Sunday marks the first NFL Sunday of 2026.
Ravens-Colts, Bills-Texans and Browns-Jaguars rank among the more interesting early games.
Late afternoon games worth watching would be Packers-Vikings and Commanders-Eagles.
As for Sunday Night Football, we’ll see the New York Giants host the Dallas Cowboys.
Finally, on Monday Night Football, quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes and Bo Nix will make their first appearances since suffering season-ending injuries as the Kansas City Chiefs host the Denver Broncos.
Are you ready for some football?
