Countless Americans are calling for President Donald Trump to be impeached this Friday because of a recent post on social media.
On Thursday night, Trump took aim at former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle by sharing a video of them as primates in a jungle. It didn't take long for this social media post to spark outrage online.
As of this Friday morning, Trump has not responded to any of this criticism. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, however, tried her best to put out any fires.
"This is from an internet meme video depicting President Trump as the King of the Jungle and Democrats as characters from the Lion King," Leavitt said, via the Associated Press. "Please stop the fake outrage and report on something today that actually matters to the American public."

Although there's no indication a change will be made, Trump's biggest critics are calling for him to be removed from the White House.
"We need to denounce this behavior, now!! Impeach Trump," one person wrote on social media.
"What a disgusting human," a second person commented. "Donald is a racist."
"Impeach Trump immediately," another person said.
"I refuse to watch this overtly racist video posted by Trump," a social media user wrote. "This man is unstable and unfit to serve! Impeach him NOW."
We'll see if Trump breaks his silence in the coming hours.
All we know for certain is that Trump will address the nation this weekend in an exclusive interview with NBC's Tom Llamas. This interview will air before Super LX between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks.
