NFL preseason action is back in store tonight.
The National Football League is about a month away from opening the regular season. The first full Sunday of the 2026 NFL season is set for Sunday, September 13. It should be a fun one.
But preseason action is here in the meantime.
The NFL announced on Thursday that six different preseason games will be taking place on Thursday evening, August 13. We'll have NFL games from 7 p.m. E.T. until midnight or so on the East Coast.

NFL fans react to Thursday's preseason schedule
"Burrow playing? Looking forward to seeing what the Bengals and Chargers are able to do and see what type of energy they bring. Those are two teams in the AFC that could easily be there in the end," one fan wrote.
"Me fighting the urge to parlay all six preseason games," one fan joked.
"Might be preseason, but there seriously are some good spots tonight," one fan added.
"I’ve got popcorn, a calendar reminder, and a strong suspicion my couch will file for overtime pay. 🥳," one fan added.
"As a Steelers fan who works 2nd shift M-F, it would sure be nice to see them play more Sunday games. I'm sure the country doesn't want to see them in Prime Time as often as they are," another fan added.
What do you make of tonight's preseason slate?
