The MLB postseason officially begins this Tuesday with an incredible four-game slate.
The first Wild Card Series matchup is an NL East showdown between the Philadelphia Phillies and Atlanta Braves. We’ll get to watch Jesus Luzardo and Chris Sale duel it out at Truist Park this afternoon.
A few hours later, the Chicago White Sox and Houston Astros will square off at Daikin Park. While the Astros are led by a true MVP candidate in Yordan Alvarez, this isn’t the powerhouse club we’re accustomed to seeing in the American League.
After the White Sox and Astros wrap up Game 1 of their Wild Card Series, the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees will go head-to-head in the Bronx.
Last but not least, the Chicago Cubs and San Diego Padres will meet at Petco Park. There’ll be plenty of stars on display in Game 1, including Alex Bregman, Pete Crow-Armstrong and Fernando Tatis Jr.
Here’s the TV schedule:
- Phillies vs. Braves at 2 p.m. ET on NBC
- White Sox vs. Astros at 5 p.m. ET on Peacock
- Red Sox vs. Yankees at 8 p.m. ET on NBC
- Cubs vs. Padres at 10 p.m. ET on Peacock

Who are the favorites to advance?
The Astros and Yankees are slightly favored to win their matchups with the White Sox and Red Sox.
As for the National League, the Braves and Padres are favored to advance to the Divisional Round Series.
The Los Angeles Dodgers, meanwhile, are the overwhelming favorites to win the World Series.
