Jack Hughes and the New Jersey Devils will return to play on Wednesday evening, following a two-plus break due to the Winter Olympics.
The 24-year-old New Jersey Devils star scored the game-winning goal at the Winter Olympics. The United States topped Canada, 2-1, in the gold medal game on Sunday morning. Hughes' golden goal gave the United States their first gold medal in men's hockey since 1980, the iconic "Miracle on Ice" game.
Hughes, one of the NHL's top players, returns to the Prudential Center on Wednesday night. Darren Rovell of cllct is on hand for the game. He shared a cool photo of fans lining up outside of the arena for the return game.
"Line to welcome back Jack!" he shared.
The New Jersey Devils are giving out a special Jack Hughes, Team USA gold medal poster on Wednesday night, too.
It's a special moment for the franchise.
Hughes is going to be all over the place this week
Hughes will be making a special appearance on The Pat McAfee Show this week, too. He'll be flying into Indianapolis on Friday.
McAfee, who paid Team USA's $150,000 bar tab at E11EVEN in Miami, is excited to be welcoming the Team USA star onto the program.
'We've got Jack Hughes flying in and joining us on Friday.. For him to have that gold medal moment was such a BEAUTIFUL thing," McAfee wrote.
If Hughes wasn't a household name before this week, he certainly will be now.
