The Tennessee Titans finished their second week of training camp, and once again there were some players who made a big step forward in their progress and standing with the franchise. None made a bigger step than these three players.
Will Levis, Quarterback

Titans quarterback Will Levis has been in a quarterback battle with veteran Mitchell Trubisky, who the Titans signed on the first day of free agency, becoming one of the major additions that the Titans made during the offseason. Levis was by far the best player among the two players in the battle, as he was dominant through the practice portion of the week, although he was a bit quiet during the Blue and White scrimmage. Despite that performance, I believe he is trending towards being the Titans' primary backup behind starting quarterback Cam Ward.
Carnell Tate, Wide Receiver

The Titans rookie wide receiver made some major headlines during the week, as he has completely exited the shell that he was in during the first week. Exiting this shell has allowed him to be viewed as arguably the biggest winner from the second week of training camp regardless of position. He finished with multiple touchdowns, great catches (including a one-handed catch that he made during the scrimmage), and he was quick to find his rhythm when it comes to throwing blocks on the outside. He made strides in every area of his game, and he looks to be the clear No. 1 wide receiver on this roster.
Amani Hooker, Safety

Amani Hooker is becoming a top player on the Titans' defense through training camp, which comes as an expectation from a former captain of this team. He finished this week as the best safety on the team in my opinion, which is key considering the Titans have been dealing with what seems to be a safety battle between him and Tony Adams, who has been silent for most of camp thus far. Hooker wasn't good last season, but every player typically experiences a down year.
