CM Punk did it again. The April 6 episode of Raw opened with a pipe bomb promo reminiscent of his 2011 heyday. What started as a shot at Roman Reigns quickly pivoted to a blistering attack on The Rock, Pat McAfee, and McAfee’s agent—whom Punk blamed for WrestleMania 42’s sky-high ticket prices.
That agent is Ari Emanuel, who became McAfee's agent earlier this year, according to Bloomberg. Emanuel’s plan: turn McAfee into the “next Sylvester Stallone” in Hollywood. McAfee already has a four-episode arc on the upcoming season of Tulsa King and a role in the sports drama film The Mosquito Bowl, based on the book by Buzz Bissinger, author of Friday Night Lights, who is also represented by Emanuel.

Who is Ari Emanuel?
Emanuel is the CEO & Executive Chairman of TKO, WWE’s parent company, and CEO of the WME Group (formerly Endeavor), a powerhouse talent and media agency that essentially runs Hollywood. Through this corporate structure, WME owns WWE, making Emanuel technically the ultimate boss of the company.

His brother is Rahm Emanuel, former Chicago mayor and White House Chief of Staff under President Barack Obama.
Until recently, Emanuel’s involvement in WWE was largely behind the scenes. Sources suggest he directly influenced McAfee’s insertion into the Cody Rhodes–Randy Orton rivalry for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Organizationally, Emanuel outranks both WWE President Nick Khan and Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque.
The backlash is real. WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray revealed on Monday’s Busted Open that wrestlers and industry insiders are frustrated with McAfee’s sudden prominence. Emanuel, clearly the architect, is now facing the heat—even on WWE’s flagship program, Monday Night Raw.
Pat McAfee responded to CM Punk's "MAGA" reference on Raw.
Notably, WWE has not posted Punk's promo to their YouTube channel, a departure from their normal social media workflow following Raw.
The clip on X avoids mention of McAfee's agent and the demand to lower WrestleMania ticket prices.
