The Detroit Lions’ roster is filled with quality depth at most positions, which is why the team has been one of the top contenders in the NFC over the last few seasons.
However, the depth at offensive line is still an issue for the Lions. Entering camp, Detroit was banking on a few players to step up as key depth pieces on the unit, but that hasn’t happened yet.
The Lions actually have more questions to answer on the offensive line now, especially after the significant injuries to Cade Mays and Giovanni Manu that will keep both out for an extended period in the regular season. The depth just isn’t good enough, but Detroit does have an avenue to fix it.
