With Alec Pierce heading back to the Indianapolis Colts on a $116 million free agency contract, NFL teams in need of a top wide receiver will have to shift their plans elsewhere.
A.J Brown could be those other plans.
The Philadelphia Eagles star wide receiver has been named in trade rumors for a couple of months now. Teams like the New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills have been linked to the star wide receiver. But thus far, the Eagles' asking price for Brown has been quite high, perhaps in the multiple first round picks range.
However, according to a new report on Monday, the Eagles might have changed their asking price for the standout wide receiver.

Longtime NFL insider Josina Anderson reported on Monday that the Eagles appear to be willing to take a lesser package for Brown.
The Eagles are reportedly believed to be OK with a first round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft and a second round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft.
Still, that's quite high.
"(The Eagles) already have 4 top 100 picks this year. Easier for the other team to give their 1st-round pick next year, than this year," one source told Anderson of Philadelphia's thought process.
The source added: "next year's draft class is stronger."
That's still a very high asking price
Last offseason, the Cowboys traded a 2026 3rd-round pick and a 2027 5th-round pick to Pittsburgh in exchange for George Pickens.
Pickens, a talented wide receiver, went on to become an All-Pro in Dallas.
Brown is currently thought of more highly than Pickens was at the time that he was traded out of Pittsburgh. However, trading a first and second round pick for a wide receiver is a high price to pay.
Will any NFL team pay it?
