Drew Brees and his family are heading back to New Orleans this fall for a football game.

According to Garland Gillen of FOX 8, football fans will get to see two members of the Brees family take on Isidore Newman. The legendary quarterback's oldest sons, Baylen and Bowen, currently play for Santa Fe Christian in California. They reportedly attended Newman lower and middle school when their father was on the New Orleans Saints.

"The Newman-Santa Fe Christian matchup will take place on Thursday, Sept. 10, on the campus of Newman," Gillen wrote. "The Greenies will do a return trip to California in the fall of 2027."

Baylen Brees, a wide receiver at Santa Fe, will enter his senior season with the Eagles this fall. Bowen, on the other hand, is currently a sophomore.

The Brees family has plenty of reasons to celebrate.

Last week, Brees was officially voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He received the great news from former San Diego Chargers quarterback Dan Fouts.

"It’s kind of been a step-by-step process and honestly it’s really surreal, even as we sit here and talk about it now," Brees said, via Jeff Nowak of WWL Radio Sports. "Right away, it’s just like, oh my gosh, you know, this is really happening and, you know, he says, hey, welcome into the NFL Hall of Fame, I look at my wife and kids. I mean, what an incredible moment that was and then, you know, they announced it at honors on Thursday, that was kind of another step towards reality."

Brees and the rest of the 2026 class will have their Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony on August 8.
