Wyndham Clark is hoping to add major tournament win No. 2 at the 2026 U.S. Open on Sunday. The 32-year-old golfer, who played collegiately at Oklahoma State, previously won the tournament in 2023. He entered Sunday's round with a big lead, at -7 for the tournament, and he's hoping to hold on for the win.
However, heading into Sunday's round, Clark expressed some disappointment, as he wasn't thrilled with the fan turnout.
“Yeah, it was kind of unfortunate that we’re finishing in the dark and people weren’t really out there because there were some obviously key, big moments, and it did kind of get a little flat, so yeah, unfortunately,” Clark said on Saturday.
He added: “Hopefully tomorrow there’s a bunch of fans and stuff, but for me, it’s still really important, and I still felt the moment. It’s just maybe unfortunate that there weren’t all the people there.”

Clark will hopefully have a lot of support on Sunday. Surely, his longtime girlfriend, Emily Tanner, will be in the crowd.
