The winless, 0-4 Houston Texans are a Top 10 team in the latest “objective” NFL power rankings following Week 4 of the 2026 regular season.
Week 4 will actually wrap up on Monday evening, with the Saints vs. Falcons game on ESPN. It’s the 20th anniversary of the Hurricane Katrina game in New Orleans. It should be a special, emotional night in New Orleans.
On Sunday, the Texans had a chance to take down the Cowboys, but Houston came up short. The Texans, who fell to the Patriots in the AFC Playoffs last season, dropped to 0-4 on the season. They are one of five winless teams after Week 4.
But, despite their poor record, the Texans come in at No. 10 overall in Ben Baldwin’s latest “objective” NFL power rankings.

NFL fans react to ‘objective’ power rankings
Wins and losses don’t always tell the full story of how a team is performing, but they have to matter more than this, right?
We’ll find out as the season goes on.
“I enjoy objective numbers/not listing teams by record. The Browns at 29th behind a team like the Bucs(who they beat on the road and are 0-4) is a little goofy imo. Browns also play 3 teams on the “Bad” list,” one fan wrote.
“I get it. We won’t get any sorta credit for a while. Just keep winning,” one Browns fan added.
“Vegas (these are Vegas odds) isn’t treating the Lamar Jackson injury as serious,” one fan added.
