President Donald Trump’s decision to attend this Saturday’s game between No. 1 Texas and No. 14 Tennessee has apparently impacted the secondary market for tickets.
OutKick founder Clay Travis broke the news Wednesday that Trump will be in Knoxville to watch this SEC showdown. Although there were some whispers about him potentially making an appearance on “College GameDay,” he’s not expected to be featured on ESPN’s pregame show.
While we’re not sure if there’ll be any pregame activities involving Trump, it appears ticket prices for Saturday’s showdown at Neyland Stadium are getting cheaper by the hour.
According to USA Today, ticket prices for the Texas-Tennessee game have dropped by at least $100 ever since it was reported that Trump will be in attendance.
Initially, the get-in price for Saturday’s game was roughly $500. It dropped down to $376 by Thursday afternoon.
As of this Friday, the cheapest ticket available on Ticketmaster goes for $357.

Trump’s appearance will complicate matters for both teams.
Texas coach Steve Sarkisian revealed Thursday that Trump’s presence will impact both coaching staffs this weekend. That’s because communication inside the stadium gets cut off when he switches locations.
“Anytime the President changes locations within the stadium, they cut all communication. They cut your headsets in terms of coach to player communication. So you have to plan for that,” Sarkisian said.
Both the Texas and Tennessee coaching staffs will have to prepare for potential communication issues this Saturday. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. ET on ABC.
