The Texas A&M Aggies are putting together one of the best 2027 recruiting classes in college football. Mike Elko and his staff have already landed 13 commitments, ranking first in the nation.
The group has brought in four five-star commitments, including safety Kamarui Dorsey, interior offensive lineman Kennedy Brown, EDGE Zyron Forstall and cornerback Raylaun Henry. The Aggies are looking to keep their momentum going.
Texas A&M missed out on the initial commitment from EDGE Jaiden Bryant, out of Irmo, South Carolina. The pass rusher chose the LSU Tigers on Jan. 3. Despite that, he hasn't completely shut down his recruitment.

The Aggies haven't quit their pursuit of the defender. Rivals' director of recruiting, Chad Simmons, reports that Texas A&M is one of several teams still in the battle to flip Bryant from LSU.
"Miami and Texas A&M continue to battle near the top of the recruiting rankings and have both hosted Bryant this spring," Simmons wrote. "Both will get official visits. South Carolina also remains involved, especially with proximity in play. LSU still leads, but this recruitment will be monitored closely through the summer."
At 6-foot-4 and 240 pounds, Bryant is a five-star recruit, the No. 4 EDGE and the No. 29 player in the nation, per Rivals Industry Ranking. Last season for Irmo High School, he accumulated 75 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, one interception and three pass deflections
He is set to take his official visit with Texas A&M on June 5 and will also be making his way to South Carolina on June 12. This will be the first time the Aggies get him in College Station, making it crucial to their chances of orchestrating a flip.
