The Cleveland Browns wrapped up practice on Friday, their final session prior to the regular-season home opener at Huntington Bank Field on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers in Week 3.
For the third consecutive game, offensive guard Teven Jenkins miss be sidelined due to a back injury suffered in practice back on Wednesday, September 9. Rookie Austin Barber, who has gotten his NFL career off to a great start, will make a third straight start in place of Jenkins.

Cornerback Tyson Campbell suffered an injury practice last Wednesday, and he is now listed with ankle, hip and knee ailments. He was listed as a limited participant in all three sessions this week. He was dinged up last week heading into the Week 2 game at Tampa Bay, and he made three solo tackles with four assists and 1.5 stuffs, which is pretty impressive considering he was not believed to be 100 percent.
In addition to Campbell, safety Grant Delpit (shoulder) was a limited participant in all three practice sessions, and he also carries a questionable tag into the game. And, just as a refresher, a questionable tag means a player is 50-50 to play.
Four Players Given Green Light for Sunday
Defensive tackle Mason Graham (groin), offensive tackle Tytus Howard (knee), running back Quinshon Jenkins and linebacker Quincy Williams (knee) were each able to take part in a full practice session, and each of the players were removed from the injury report.
It’s great news for the Browns that Graham will be able to play, as he has eight total stops, four solo tackles, a sack in each game, and one stuff through two starts.
Howard is an important part of the offensive line, and he’ll get the start next to Barber. Jenkins is also given the green light after dealing with some sort of a personal issue during the week, while Williams is good to go.
For Carolina, linebacker Claudin Cherilus (shoulder), linebacker Devin Lloyd (calf) and safety Nick Scott (rib) are each ruled out, and Lloyd’s absence is particularly notable, as he has been disruptive this season for Carolina, while posting a defensive score. Meanwhile, wide receivers Jalen Coker (ankle) and Xavier Legette (knee) are each questionable for failing to practice Thursday, while participating in a limited capacity Friday.
