Pittsburgh Steelers legend Terry Bradshaw achieved another milestone.

Before Terry Bradshaw became one of the most recognizable voices in sports media, he built a career as one of the greatest quarterbacks in Pittsburgh Steelers history. Selected first overall in the 1970 NFL Draft, Bradshaw spent 14 seasons in Pittsburgh, leading the franchise to four Super Bowl championships.

He was named Super Bowl MVP twice, won the NFL MVP award in 1978 and earned three Pro Bowl selections. Bradshaw finished his playing career with 27,989 passing yards and 212 touchdowns before being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1989.

After retiring from football, Bradshaw successfully transitioned into broadcasting. He joined CBS Sports in 1984 as an NFL game analyst before moving into studio coverage. In 1994, Bradshaw became one of the original co-hosts of “Fox NFL Sunday” and remains a prominent part of the network’s NFL coverage.

Bradshaw has also built a career as an author, publishing several books about his life and experiences. His latest project, “Looking for Terry: A Memoir,” marks his first memoir in more than two decades and offers readers a more personal look at the man behind his football achievements and television persona. Published by Harper Select, the book explores his life beyond the public image that has followed him throughout his career.

Bradshaw has now announced another milestone for the book, revealing that it has become a New York Times bestseller.

“Looking for Terry is an instant @nytimes bestseller!” Bradshaw announced on Instagram.

In Looking for Terry, Bradshaw reflects on the reputation he developed over decades in the public eye, including how he came to embrace the jokes and self-deprecating humor associated with his personality. The memoir also explores more difficult parts of his life, including his struggles with depression, his battle with cancer and the role his faith played during challenging periods.
