Terry Bradshaw earns millions per year at Fox Sports, but his salary pales in comparison to how much NFL stars make.
When Bradshaw, who won four Super Bowls with the Pittsburgh Steelers, was playing in the NFL, he made just $25,000 his rookie year. His salary ultimately grew to around $1 million by the end of his career. In today’s money, that’s worth about $3 million.
No NFL quarterback is making close to that these days, at least in terms of the established, veteran quarterbacks who have won Super Bowls.

Bradshaw is fed up with how much NFL quarterbacks make
On Sunday morning, Bradshaw made it clear that he strongly believes most NFL quarterbacks today should not be making $50 million or more.
While most of the league’s quarterbacks are paid in the $40 million to $60 million range, Bradshaw believes that salaries have become too bloated.
It’s a lot, obviously, considering NFL backup quarterbacks like Jameis Winston, Case Keenum and Drew Lock are performing well, making much less money.
Fellow NFL analyst Michael Strahan reminded his colleague, Terry Bradshaw, that NFL players make so much today because of the way the league has grown.
Bradshaw, though, isn’t having it.
“I don’t care about the economics,” Bradshaw fired back.
NFL quarterback salaries are here to stay, though. Like it or not, Terry, they’re not going anywhere.
