Terry Bradshaw isn’t going anywhere.
The 78-year-old NFL analyst, who won four Super Bowls with the Pittsburgh Steelers, will be part of FOX’s coverage for multiple years to come.
Bradshaw, who is releasing a new memoir, spoke to the Los Angeles Times this week. He opened up on a number of things, including his contract situation at Fox Sports. Bradshaw said that he got “nervous” for the first time this year.
The NFL analyst signed a multi-year contract extension with Fox Sports, guaranteeing his spot at the network through its next Super Bowl broadcast.

Bradshaw told the Los Angeles Times that this was the first time that he had gotten nervous about his contract situation.
“I love my job. This year was the first year that I got nervous,” he explained. “I wanted to extend my contract. So I signed through the Super Bowl. Two more years. I’ll be 80.”
Bradshaw is in no rush to leave TV.
“Everybody in any business has to go. The young guys are coming. But I want to be relevant,” he said. “I want to be good. I want to continue on. I want America to [tune in] and watch me. I want them to [like] me.”
Bradshaw’s contract extension will take him through the 2028-29 season, when Fox will air its next Super Bowl.
Bradshaw has been committed to this plan
Bradshaw has said that his “biggest fear” is waking up on an NFL Sunday and not being able to work.
“I think my biggest fear, if I have a fear, is not being able to work at FOX NFL Sunday. It is my life. It’s all I’ve ever done. It’s what I listen, you get up and go to work; are you happiest? You can’t wait to get to work. Are you that thrilled? That’s why I am,” Bradshaw said on a “The School of Greatness” podcast episode.
Bradshaw has loved his time on the air.
“Can you imagine going to work on Sunday with Strahan, Howie Long, Gronkowski, Kurt Menefee?” Bradshaw said. “Talk football, and to 6 million viewers out there, the number one rated show every year for the last 32 years, and have fun and enjoy and never get upset, never get jealous. You’re pulling for everybody. Yeah, you make a nice living, and you watch football all day.”
He’ll be doing it for a few more years, at least.
