Women's tennis star Belinda Bencic appears to be enjoying her brief break away from the WTA Tour.
A year ago, Bencic returned to form by reaching the Wimbledon semifinals. The Olympic gold medalist from Switzerland also picked up titles in Tokyo and Abu Dhabi during the 2025 season.
Bencic, 29, is still searching for her first singles title of the 2026 season. She reached the second round of the Australian Open as well as the fourth round at Roland Garros and Wimbledon.
With the hard court season about to heat up, Bencic shared several photos from her latest trip to Monaco.
"A few days off to enjoy summer," Bencic wrote for her Instagram caption. "Now back to work."

"Soooo gorgeous," another fan wrote.

Can she make a run at the US Open?
Bencic reached the US Open semifinals back in 2019 before losing to eventual champion Bianca Andreescu. She hasn't gone that far in New York since that tournament.
While it's possible Bencic makes a deep run at the final Grand Slam tournament of the season, she's not considered a favorite.
The main draw of the US Open will begin on Aug. 30.
