The Tennessee Titans are progressing towards their second game of preseason action after what seemed to be an up-and-down victory against the San Francisco 49ers last Thursday. Unfortunately for the Titans, they have been dealing with some injuries recently.

This includes some injuries within the 2026 NFL Draft rookie class, which the Titans have invested heavily in, including trading up on the first day to select their second player within the draft. If you thought it couldn’t get worse, it did. The two that the Titans are dealing with injuries to are both the players that were selected on the first day.

Carnell Tate missed Wednesday’s practice entirely, which is something that we discussed earlier in the day. He is reportedly dealing with some stiffness that isn’t due to the hit that he received the other day that took him out of practice. This isn’t something that will keep him out long-term, but it is definitely something to monitor as the Titans rookie is already dealing with some uncomfortable feelings ahead of the second preseason game of his career.

As of now, it remains unknown if he will be okay to play in the game against the Seahawks on Sunday; however, if he is still feeling even slightly off, it is worth keeping him on the sidelines.

Keldric Faulk – Left Practice Early

Edge defender Keldric Faulk takes questions at the Titans’ practice facility in Nashville, Tenn., Friday, April 24, 2026. He was the Titans second draft pick for 2026.

If the Titans couldn’t catch a break already, it got worse. The Titans’ second selection in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft is now injured as well, as he reportedly left practice early due to what appears to be a possible shoulder or arm injury that he was visibly in pain with and holding while walking off the field.

As of now, there isn’t a timeline that the Tennessee franchise can give about their rookie edge; however, they are hopeful that this was just a stinger rather than an actual injury that has occurred. The Titans will hold out hope due to the fact that he is expected to play a significant role on the defensive side of the football, especially considering the edge group that they have isn’t the deepest.
