Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are hoping the staff at Madison Square Garden correct a mistake in time for their wedding ceremony on July 3.
According to TMZ, the plan is for Kelce and Swift to have "between 1,100 and 1,200 people" attend their wedding ceremony in New York. In order to prevent leaks online, they've reportedly sent custom invitations to their guests.
With the power couple set to get married this weekend, TMZ is reporting that Swift wants Madison Square Garden's employees to replace its red carpet with a purple one.
"The color change is underway right now at Madison Square Garden, where workers are pulling up the red carpet they laid down earlier today on a set of stairs outside the arena," TMZ reported. "Our photog took this video and was told the carpet is supposed to be purple, not red ... hence the frantic change."
TMZ is also claiming that MSG employees aren't allowed to have their phones on them while getting the venue ready for Kelce and Swift's wedding.
"MSG employees aren't allowed to have their phones while setting up the space -- which makes sense since they're apparently building a castle in there -- and wedding guests reportedly have been given the minimum amount of information."

It's going to be an expensive event.
Since Kelce and Swift are reportedly renting out Madison Square Garden for at least three days, they're expected to drop at least $3 million just to secure the venue. They also are expected to pay top dollar to ensure the streets of New York City aren't swamped on their wedding day.
“The permit, filed by Winick Productions in June, asked for street closures around MSG and for a public tent to be set up outside the venue, which will include 500 to 999 attendees,” the New York Post reported. “In addition, a source told Page Six that Kansas City Chiefs players have reservations at Marriott Marquis in Midtown around the wedding date.”
Only time will tell if Kelce and Swift's wedding ends up being the event of the year.
