Taylor Swift wasted no time letting the world know how she felt when Travis Kelce found the end zone in Week 2. As the Kansas City Chiefs battled past the Indianapolis Colts 33-30 in overtime, Kelce hauled in a 13-yard touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes for his first score of the 2026 NFL season.

The tight end capped the night with nine catches for 101 yards on 11 targets, his first 100-yard regular-season game since 2024.

Moments after the score, broadcast cameras cut straight to Swift inside the Chiefs’ VIP suite, where she pointed to her wedding ring and appeared to mouth, “That’s my husband.”

The clip spread fast across social media, and Kelce leaned into it days later on his “New Heights” podcast. Travis brushed off the touchdown celebration with a laugh, calling it “just doing my deed as a husband.”

The tight end, who turns 37 next month, weighed retirement over the offseason before deciding to return for a 14th season, and he has credited Swift as part of what pushed him to keep playing.

Swift’s own schedule has stayed just as busy. She released four new songs Friday as part of “The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore,” even as her ties to Chiefs Kingdom keep deepening, especially among young fans.

That connection was on full display at a recent charity auction hosted by the Deron Cherry Foundation, where a Chiefs jersey signed by Swift sold for $21,000. A young girl placed the winning bid on behalf of her family, and her reaction when it was announced said everything about what the moment meant to her.

The Chiefs will look to build on the momentum Sunday when they travel to face the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium, with kickoff set for 1:00 p.m. ET.
